Medical sonic therapy system

The therapy your patients can feel and hear.

The DuoSonic is the first professional clinical device for local sonic therapy within the physiological stimulus range. It operates between 10 and 150 hertz (Hz), precisely where the body’s mechanoreceptors respond.

The DuoSonic is currently undergoing the conformity assessment procedure under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and does not yet bear the CE marking, which is expected from January 2027.

Innovation in the treatment room

When the usual options have been exhausted

A familiar situation: patients have been coming in for weeks; you have tried manual therapy, stretching and mobilization. Things improve, then get worse again. Sooner or later, you run out of options in the treatment room.

This is exactly where DuoSonic comes in. Not as a replacement for conventional physiotherapy, but as a stimulus that could not be applied before and, for the first time, one that patients can perceive while it is working. They feel and hear the oscillation. That is the point at which a treatment becomes a service patients can clearly recognize.

In brief: 10 to 15 minutes per treatment, no gel and no clean-up, and it can be delegated to trained staff. And for patients, it is the first thing in weeks that feels different.

Close-up of a knee treatment: the practitioner places the large applicator on the side of the seated patient’s knee. Round rings illustrate how the oscillation spreads through the knee.

What matters

Three features that make the difference

Not a promise but something you can check: in thirty seconds during a demo.

Pillar 01

Sonic waves in the physiological stimulus range

10 to 150 Hz, adjustable in 10 Hz steps.

  • Dynamic Mode to counter receptor habituation
  • Acts along bone, tendons and fascia
  • Two depths: Soft and Deep
  • Predefined treatment programs for the common indications, accessible via the body map

Pillar 02

Two applicators for two different tasks

Large for broad areas, small for hands, feet and face (both included as standard).

  • No swapping mid-session: large and small areas without changing attachments
  • Independently controlled: each applicator keeps its own parameters
  • Second applicator at no extra cost

Pillar 03

Painless, and therefore easy to repeat

Not merely a comfort factor: it is why patients complete even treatment courses lasting several weeks without difficulty.

  • Painless and gel-free, no pressure on the skin, biocompatible applicator surface
  • Suitable for use on joints, the neck and the face
  • Applicators can be disinfected

About the name

Duo. Sonic.

Duo: two times two

Two applicators: the large one for broad areas and large muscle groups; the small one for hands, feet, face and small anatomical structures.
Two treatment depths: Soft for sensitive and superficial regions, Deep for the deep muscles.

Sonic: from sonic waves

The device works with mechanical oscillations between 10 and 150 Hz, within the audible range. That is why patients do not just feel the treatment, they hear it too.

What sets it apart

One point treats an entire region.

The oscillation does not stay where the applicator rests. It is transmitted along the structure (bone, tendons, fascia and muscle) and extends well beyond the contact area.

Schematic of a forearm: the applicator rests on the elbow, and the oscillation spreads along the structures across the whole forearm to the fingertips.

Easy to check for yourself

Place the applicator on the elbow, and the oscillation can be felt right down to the fingertips. That is the moment when the difference from a device that works at a single point becomes clear without any explanation.

Large areas in a single pass

A single contact point covers a wide area: the region is reached as a whole instead of being covered centimeter by centimeter. On the back, thigh and calf in particular, this makes a real difference.

Gentle use around sensitive areas

Where direct contact is not possible or not wanted, the applicator can be placed alongside: the oscillation reaches the region through the structure, not through the direct contact point.

The complete system

Everything in one case. Fully portable.

Control unit with touchscreen, both applicators, power supply and instructions for use in a contoured foam insert. Nothing needs to be bought separately; the device is ready to use from day one.
